We will be closed from January 24th to 27th.

I had a busy New Year's holiday, so I'm going on a trip with my daughter from Friday the 24th to Monday the 27th.

I travel around Japan periodically, and every time I leave Okinawa Prefecture I am excited by new discoveries, new encounters, and new flavors, which provides good stimulation.

I'm 44 this year, but I've never been abroad.

Everyone is surprised.

I've never been abroad because I'm always here at the tropical Araha Beach, but the atmosphere is different from Japan, and recently we've had a lot of overseas customers and local foreigners coming over for coffee or to our workshops, and they tell me stories about where they were born and what other countries are like, and that alone is enough for me.

Everyone is so kind and loving, and talking to them makes my heart bloom.

It's been five years since YANCAFE opened, but I still can't speak English.

Arrange the words in English, listen to the story and then imitate the pronunciation, and use body gestures.

When I was young and working as a bartender in Kabukicho, a foreign customer got yelled at in an incredibly loud voice, and after that I started to hate English.

Now I enjoy communicating with people from other countries.

When I came to Okinawa and started working in the nursing care industry, I didn't understand the dialect at all.

I was able to understand the Okinawan dialect by speaking with a smile.

Somehow, things work out somehow.

Well, January is almost over already.

I think there are a lot of YANCAFE regulars this year!

The season of transfers and moves is approaching.

I feel lonely...

I look forward to cherishing the time we spend together during the rest of my time in Okinawa, and I look forward to waiting for you with a smile.

So, we look forward to seeing you again from the end of our temporary closure on the 31st.
